We’re extremely excited to announce that as of November 1st, we now support Payoneer as a payment method! Payoneer allows you to sign up for your own ShareCash Debit Card and have all your payments automatically sent directly to your card. You can then use your ShareCash payments through your new Debit Card as you would any other credit card – in person, at an ATM, or online!

It works like this:

* First you go to your “Profile” page, scroll down, and click the link in the Payoneer box.

* You signup for your card, and Payoneer reviews your application and approves you.

* Payoneer then sends you your own ShareCash Debit Card, which you can use like any normal debit card, whether it be in person or online.

* When you request your ShareCash payment, you choose the “Payoneer” option. You don’t need to supply any Payoneer ID or username; it’ all automatic.

* We then send you your payment directly to your new Debit Card, and you can use your earnings immediately!

While this is just a small update compared to what’s on the way, we hope that everybody takes advantage of this new method, as Payoneer is one of the easiest and most convenient ways to receive and spend your earnings.

As some of you already know, for the past few months we’ve been completely recreating ShareCash from the ground up, a process which is finally moving into the final stages.

In this time we’ve added new members to our programming team, completely redesigned our databases and source code to ensure efficiency and performance, created a platform that will let us scale and create new features on demand, added plenty of new features that will help all our affiliates to boost their earnings tremendously, optimized our backend processes to ensure our surveys are always the highest-performing and highest-paying, and are in the process of creating spectacular user interfaces using the latest web technologies to ensure our affiliates have all the data they could ever need, and can access it in the most efficient, user-friendly, and visually pleasing way possible. This has been an extremely long and intensive design process, but we are finally progressing into the final steps; keep in mind that ShareCash isn’t just a normal website, it’s an extremely large, highly scalable web application that needs to be able to service 1000’s of hits a second without any overhead, so there was much planning and designing involved, as well as experimenting with different new technologies.

While we are not ready to begin beta testing, we do need help from our affiliates in a different area. In our new frontend design we’ve left space for video testimonials, where current affiliates can talk about their experience with ShareCash, which gives prospective users the opportunity to learn about us before signing up, and see that we are a legitimate, paying, and effective website that can be used to earn thousands of dollars in extra income.

So, what exactly do we want?

* We need you to create a video of yourself talking about your experience with ShareCash and why you love working wih us.
* The video should be no longer than 60 seconds long.
* The video must be of yourself, and not just text on a screen. Your dialog must be comprehensible and in the English language, as most visitors are English-speaking.
* Feel free to show off things you’ve bought with your earnings, whether it be a new iPod, a new laptop, a new TV, a new car etc.
* The video must discuss positives of working with ShareCash as a website only, not any specifics such as viable earning methods or good websites to promote on.
* When your video is complete, upload it to YouTube and email videocontest@sharecash.org with your 1) SC username, 2) Name and Hometown (city, state), and 2) YouTube Video URL

When we are ready to start beta testing, we will choose 7 videos we think are best and declare them the winners of the contest. The winners will get:

1) a $100 bonus, paid to them immediately
2) their video on the FRONT PAGE of ShareCash (thousands of people will see it a day!)
3) a reserved spot to beta test our new platform

The winners will most likely be chosen around early November, but the exact date is tentative. When deciding the winners, we will check to see which videos are high video quality, very convincing, professional-looking, etc, so make sure you try your best and give the video your own twist to get a spot on the front-page!

So, what are you waiting for? Start brainstorming video ideas and get producing, and you may just become the new face of ShareCash!

We have made another addition to our statistics page: daily file breakdowns! In this section you will find a bar graph of all of your files that were downloaded throughout the day, as well as how many downloads each received. The file ID is displayed to the left, the downloads to the right, and the full filename when you hover over the respective bar. This should help you get a better idea of what files are working best and earning you the most, as well as what traffic sources are bringing in the most downloads. Using this information you should be able to further tweak your promotional methods, and, as always, earn even more cash!

Our development team has been hard at work pumping out both backend and frontend additions and improvements to ShareCash, so keep your eyes pealed for a flood of more new updates coming in the very near future!

The past week we have been receiving an ever increasing number of emails asking if users are allowed to upload pornographic content. This is clearly stated in our ToS, but to clear up any misconceptions, we will restate it here: NO. We allow nothing remotely pornographic in nature to be uploaded, nor do we allow files that are illegal. Our advertisers do not want traffic from such sources, so if you promote files that fall into these two categories you are risking your payout. Most users know this, but we figured it would be best to state it here in an announcement so every last user understands.

What happens if you do upload a sexually explicit file? We have just invested in a system that automatically scans all files and traffic sources every 15 minutes to find any files that violate our Terms of Service, or the two main rules we just outlined in the above paragraph. Furthermore, our staff receives a list of all files that received a download that day, every day, and manually reviews it. If we encounter any files that break out ToS, we delete all violating files in your account and give you a warning. If you are found to be breaking the rules again a second time, you will be automatically, permanently banned with no questions asked. We have absolutely no leniency concerning these matters. Luckily these occasions are rare and we don’t usually have to delete files or ban users, but all users must understand what would happen if they did decide to break the rules. If you have any files that violate our ToS, now would be the time to delete them. As long as you adhere to our Terms of Service, your account will be fine.

We are currently talking with advertisers and payment processors to see if we could setup support for adult files, but we cannot guarantee anything as survey marketing and many payment processors generally don’t go together with adult content. In the case that we are able to set this up we will unblock any files our system may have blocked in the past, but again, the chances that this will be a viable addition to ShareCash are not great. Even if it is approved, there are only a very limited number of surveys that actually allow adult content, and they are of a different type than we like to use and don’t work as well. Therefore even if it is allowed, adult content is overall not a very viable nor lucrative way to make money with surveys and PPD sites.

So, let us summarize the post in a single sentence: If you upload adult content to ShareCash, you will be banned. This is a rule that is out of our hands: our advertisers defined it, and we must abide by it fully in order to secure the long and prosperous existence of ShareCash.

Now, on to a brighter note! We are putting some finishing touches on some great new features that should be out very, very soon. We once again thank you all for choosing ShareCash, and can’t wait to once again impress you with our latest innovations. It is very easy to make money without uploading a file that breaches our ToS, and these upgrades will make it even easier!

We are excited to introduce the latest addition to ShareCash: File Mirrors! Using this new, innovative feature you can not only cloak your download URLs with a series of new domains, but you can actually change the download page design itself, in effect completely disguising your download links and removing ShareCash branding altogether!

How will this help? As ShareCash has grown more and more popular, some people have grown to recognize the ShareCash download page and immediately, almost subconsciously, leave. While this may be only a small amount of overall visitors, we knew that if there was somehow a way to retain a higher percentage of these visitors our users would experience more downloads, and more importantly, higher earnings. In our ongoing effort to optimize the ShareCash system and user’s earnings as much as possible, we have created the File Mirrors feature to ensure that your earnings with us continue to be the highest possible, both now and in the distant future.

With the ability to completely disguise your downloads, a much higher percentage of your visitors will stay on the download page and eventually view and complete an offer. From initial tests we ran, and judging by users who tested the feature out yesterday, there were on average nearly double the amount of downloads per 100 visitors than normal, a very impressive initial result. We have configured our system to track the performance of our new download pages, so we will continue to monitor the improvement they will bring and learn how to further optimize them to boost downloads. As expected, we will continue to release more and more download domains and designs in the future as necessary.

To access the File Mirrors, you can either click the “File Mirrors” link in your account’s Menu Bar, or click the “Make Mirror” link when hovering over an uploaded file in the Uploads Manager. On the page you can choose from a regularly updated drop-down list of cloaked domains. Below that you will be able to choose between three beautifully designed download pages: our original page, and the following two brand-new designs:

We know you all will find this new feature extremely useful, but we would like to continue to remind you that this is just the beginning. We have been working on this feature and a myriad of others for some time now, including a total member’s area redesign, so you can expect more significant improvements to ShareCash in the weeks to come. For now, reap the benefits of the new File Mirrors feature, and rest assured you are working with the most innovative, number one PPD site around!

We are pleased to announce that we have just added AlertPay as a new payment method! Furthermore, we have extended our ePassporte support to all countries instead of only the US. Anyone who has already requested their March earnings is free to cancel their current request and re-request their payment through one of the two new supported payment methods.

We highly advise those who requested payments via Western Union or a check to switch their requested method to AlertPay or ePassporte. These two processors support many countries that are not available in other payment processors and are extremely easy to setup. While Western Union payments take longer to be sent, as per our Payouts page, and checks take a few days to arrive in the mail, payments from these two processors are quick to send and are received instantly, so you will get your money much faster.

Due to the length of time it takes to send the requested Western Union payments, sending restrictions imposed by the company, and the extremely high fee, we will take Western Union off as an option for next month’s payments. Those who would have requested a Western Union payment can now use any other method, including PayPal, Check, ePassporte, AlertPay, or a Wire Transfer to receive their money. These methods are much quicker to be sent so you will ultimately receive your money sooner than if you had chosen Western Union. If Western Union was your only option, don’t worry; we will provide a Western Union payment if it is completely necessary and you have no other way of receiving your money, in which case you must email admin[*at*]sharecash.org for approval. Otherwise you must choose one of the above payment methods, all of which are more efficient than Western Union and have a much lower fee.

We are pleased to announce that we have completed our move to a set of brand new, extremely powerful servers! Our new setup consists of multiple storage and specialized web servers to ensure speed, performance, reliability, and uptime. We have also upgraded our uploading and downloading server’s network connections, so you can expect to see both uploading and downloading speeds up to ten times faster than our old server’s!

We would like to thank everyone for waiting for the transfer process to complete today. There were many files to move and many scripts to reconfigure, so the process took many hours. Thankfully it went smoothly and there are no know issues at the time. Over the next two days we are going to continue to make backend changes to improve the overall reliability and performance of the servers.

Now that the grueling process of moving servers is over, we can finally put the finishing touches on some unparalleled new features we’ve had stored away for the past few weeks, so stay tuned as we continue to make ShareCash even better! We are absolutely thrilled to release our most important update yet: we have increased our base rate to 40 cents per download!

After analyzing months of data, we decided to redesign our earnings and tracking systems to distribute more of the earnings to legitimate users who drive good traffic while inhibiting users who try to cheat the system and earn money they don’t deserve. With this new system in place and the earnings properly distributed we can now afford to pay the new high rate to help those who drive real traffic make even more cash!

So what exactly are the rates? For the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia you will get AT LEAST 40 cents for every download, as compared to our old 23 cents. The best part is this is only a base rate: the rest of our many offers all pay higher! As always, we have offers that pay 50 cents, 80 cents, a dollar, and higher. As for other countries, we now pay a base rate of 25 cents for any international download. Again, there are some offers for international countries that pay more than the base rate.

Just because we have many offers with many different prices doesn’t mean we just show these offers randomly and leave it up to chance which one the downloader gets. Instead, our system constantly monitors the performance of all our surveys, using metrics both in our database and the advertisers’ databases, and uses this information to determine which offers would work the best for you. Once we know which offers would make you more money we show them more often to people who download your files. Say, for example, that while there is an offer that pays $1.00, you may actually end up earning more money in the long run from an offer that pays 50 cents because users like that survey more. Our system would pick this up and show the offer that pays 50 cents more often to boost your earnings! As we’ll touch on in the next paragraph, if the user does not complete the given survey in a set amount of time we then give them a help message with a list of other surveys that will work best for him. Nothing is left to chance or choice here. Everything is tweaked and supported by statistics and facts to ensure you make the most money possible.

As we previously stated, our new system weeds out fake downloads that our advertisers would have otherwise discarded, which helps us afford to pay the new rates. Normally when any kind of website uses this type of system some users have trouble completing the offer, and in our case downloading the file, because the advertisers don’t like the information the user entered and refuse to accept it as valid. Instead of simply leaving the user stranded in desperation, we wanted to make sure that every user who tries to download a file from ShareCash can download with ease. As many of you know, we talked it over with the community and brainstormed ideas. There were many suggestions, such as timers, email optins, etc. In the end, we decided to make a robust, custom solution that will not only solve any user’s downloading issues but ensure that the system helps all users earn more money. We decided that after a user has not unlocked his download for one full minute, we display a message explaining what happened n provide him with a list of surveys to choose from that will work best for both him and us. If there aren’t enough surveys for the user we show the “Fail-Proof Survey”, which is a survey we ourselves created that unlocks the download every time. The result? There will never be a user who can’t download the file, which means more happy users and therefore more money!

We hope you all enjoy the new higher rates, but remember, this is only one of the first upgrades we’re releasing! Our new team has been hard at work innovating and coding new features and upgrades to not only improve ShareCash but more importantly help you earn more money. After receiving many suggestions for more detailed country statistics, we have created a new section in your Statistics page: the Country Breakdown section! Here you will find an interactive, 3D graph giving you a detailed view of what countries have downloaded your file this month and what percentage they are of your overall downloads. Using this new feature you can get a better view of what countries your current traffic sources are bringing in, which gives you better insight to help tweak your promotional methods to target the more profitable countries, such as the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada. Leave any feedback to help us improve this feature on the forums, and remember, this is only a taste of the upgrades and features that are coming soon!
